Suggestions:

Our name is Dark Democracy for a reason. We want everyone's voice to be heard in the guild, and encourage you to throw in your "two cents". As such, here are some routes to take if you want to suggest something for the guild:

* For anything event related that you want to lead, please post about it in the General or Members section and, if so desired in a large setting or for those new to leading, ask an officer in-game to attend for help at least an hour before the event is scheduled to take place. An officer, if available, will attend to help. NOTE: Officer attendance does not necessitate inclusion. If you want to do a Ragefire guild group and want a level 60 officer present to help you keep things in order, do not expect him to follow along and kill things for you. The officer may choose whether or not they desire to actually partake in any more than over-seeing the operation of the event.

*For a raid/event request, post on the forums, and mention it to an officer in guild chat in-game to ensure that we see it promptly.

*For a suggestion affecting the guild, either in it's policies, actions, or anything else affecting a portion of the body of the guild, let an officer know about it in-game when they are available to discuss the matter with you. If the idea is considered "appropriate", said officer will pass a version of the idea agreed upon by both the officer and the suggester to the council to be voted upon. The suggestion may be modified in this stage.

Complaints:

While we try to provide a problem-free environment to our members, this cannot always be the case. If you have any complaints, please take the following steps in an attempt to solve them.

*For a complaint about the guild, please inform an officer in a polite manner. More likely than not, whatever has upset you was unintentional, and we will be more than happy to correct the matter, if possible.

*For a complaint about a guild member, please first civilly attempt to discuss the matter with the aforementioned member. If you cannot come to a peaceful conclusion, or you feel unconfortable with this, please pass all information you can along to an officer. Most times, the officer will bring you both into a private chat channel to attempt to mediate and conclude hostilities, but in any case both sides of the story will be heard before any decisions are made. Please do not take the matter to the /guild chat, and please do not attempt to alienate other guild members from the one you are having a problem with. Your complaint is between the two of you, and neither of you have the right to drag fellow guild members into it.

If for any of these bullets you would like to remain anonymous, please feel free to create a new character and contact an officer through that name. Note that when filing a grievance about another member, should we need you to discuss the matter in a chat you may need to divulge information that may give away your identity. It is far more important in most of these cases that we recieve accurate information than it is for us to protect your identity, except in extreme matters (harassment, threats, or other such situations).
